Testosterone therapy

TRT delivery options & who it's for

About TRT →

Injections

Will injections give me more consistent results than pills?
Yes. Injections offer the most stable testosterone levels over time, which is why they're often recommended for men starting TRT or experiencing more severe symptoms.
Where do I inject it, and can I mess it up?
Testosterone is usually injected into the deltoid or thigh muscle. It's easier than it sounds, and we show you exactly how to do it safely. Most guys get comfortable with it after one or two tries. If you're not comfortable with it, we'll take care of it in-office when it best fits your schedule.
Can I switch from injections to oral later on?
Absolutely. Some men start with injections, get their levels optimized, and then switch to a daily oral routine. We adjust your protocol based on how your body responds and what fits your lifestyle.

Oral troches (dissolvable tablets)

Why do oral tablets need to be taken more than once a day?
Unlike injections, oral testosterone is absorbed and used quickly by the body. Taking it twice a day helps keep your hormone levels more balanced and avoids ups and downs.
Are oral options safer or gentler on the body?
They're not necessarily safer, but they're less invasive. Oral testosterone avoids needles, but it requires more frequent dosing and consistent timing. For some men, it's a better fit mentally or logistically.
What if I forget a dose?
Missing one dose isn't the end of the world, but consistency is key. We'll work with you to set a realistic schedule so you stay on track and get the full benefit of treatment.

TRT by age

Is there an age range for testosterone replacement therapy?
There is no strict age limit. TRT is based on your symptoms and lab results, not just your age. Many men start in their 30s, while others benefit well into their 70s.
What are the signs of low testosterone?
They include low libido, fatigue, reduced muscle mass, increased body fat, poor sleep and lack of motivation.
What is male hypogonadism?
Hypogonadism is a condition in which a man's body does not produce enough testosterone. It can lead to symptoms like low energy, reduced sex drive, muscle loss and mood changes. It is a medically recognized issue and can be effectively treated with the right care.
How do I know if I have low testosterone?
We confirm it through in-house lab testing and give you your results on the spot. Your symptoms combined with blood work give us the full picture.
Can it be treated?
Yes. Treatment often includes testosterone replacement therapy under the supervision of a licensed provider.
Is treatment safe?
When done correctly and monitored regularly, TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) is considered safe and highly effective for improving symptoms of hypogonadism.

Peptide therapy

Peptides

About peptide therapy →

What are peptides, and why are they used?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that signal your body to perform specific functions. They can help with fat loss, muscle growth, better sleep, improved recovery or increased libido. They're targeted and work with your body's natural systems.
How are peptides different from steroids or synthetic hormones?
Peptides stimulate your body to do what it's already built to do. Unlike steroids, they don't override your hormones or flood your system. They're typically lower risk and more focused.
How are peptides taken?
Most are delivered through small subcutaneous injections, similar to an insulin shot. Some are available as dissolvable tablets or nasal sprays, depending on the compound and your treatment plan.
How long does it take to see results?
Some peptides work quickly, while others build gradually. Most men begin noticing benefits like better sleep, energy or recovery within the first few weeks.
Are peptides safe?
Yes, when prescribed and monitored by a medical professional. At Xcel, all peptides are sourced from licensed pharmacies and tailored to your health and goals.

What causes ED?
Erectile dysfunction can result from low testosterone, poor blood flow, stress, anxiety, certain medications or underlying health conditions. We take a comprehensive approach to identify the exact cause.
Is ED treatable?
Yes. Most cases of ED can be effectively treated once the underlying issue is understood. We offer several modern, clinically backed options tailored to each patient.
What treatments do you offer?
Treatment options include oral medications, injectable therapies, hormone optimization and lifestyle support. We build a personalized plan based on your needs and goals.
Will I need lab work?

Is my information kept private?

Medical weight loss

Medical weight loss

About medical weight loss →

How is medical weight loss different from regular dieting?
Medical weight loss is guided by licensed professionals and based on lab work, hormone levels and clinical data. It is designed to treat the root causes of weight gain, not just the symptoms.
What medications do you use?
Depending on your needs, we may use FDA-approved treatments such as GLP-1 receptor agonists, appetite suppressants or hormone therapies. All options are discussed during your consultation.
Do I need to exercise while on the program?
Movement is encouraged, but your plan will be realistic and customized to your lifestyle. Some patients begin seeing results before adding structured workouts.
Is this program only for people with obesity?
No. Our program is designed for men who want to lose 10 pounds or 100. Whether you are addressing a long-term struggle or just need to reset your metabolism, we can help.
How soon will I see results?
Many patients begin noticing changes within the first few weeks, especially when medications are combined with lifestyle adjustments. Results vary based on your starting point and consistency, but your plan is designed for steady and sustainable progress.

Vitamin injections

Vitamin injections

About vitamin injections →

Why choose injections over oral supplements?
Injections bypass the digestive system, delivering nutrients directly into your bloodstream for faster absorption and stronger effects. This leads to better energy, focus and results compared to pills.
What do the injections help with?
Our blends are designed to support metabolism, fat burning, mental clarity, immune strength and overall energy. They are especially helpful during weight loss, high-stress periods or physical training.
How often should I get them?
Most patients start with weekly or biweekly injections depending on their goals. Your provider will help determine the right schedule based on how you respond and what you want to achieve.
